On the evening of December 7, the WTF will host its second annual WTF Gala Awards, honoring the male and female athletes of the year, the coach of the year, the referee of the year, the member national association of the year and the best kick of the year.
This year’s gala awards also include an inaugural ‘Kick of the Year’ award to honor the beauty and precision of the sport’s best techniques.
“The WTF Gala Awards 2015 will be a wonderful way to end a fantastic year,” Choue said. “It provides the WTF with a chance to thank all our athletes, coaches, referees and member national associations who work so hard throughout the year and contribute so much to our global sport.”

7 декабря 2015 года прошел второй ежегодный WTF Gala Awards. Всемирная Федерация Тхэквондо(WTF) выбрала лучшего в мужской и женской категории спортсмена года, лучшего тренера года, лучшего судью года, лючшего члена национальной спортивной ассоциации, лучший "удар года".
«Best the Female athletes of the year» (Лучший спортсмен года среди женщин): Wu Jingyu (CHINA);
«Best the Male athletes of the year» (Лучший спортсмен года среди мужчин): Lee Dae-Hoon (KOREA);
«Best the coach of the year» (Лучший Тренер года): Gulsah Alonso(Turkey)- выбран на голосование игроков, тренеров и судей;
«Best the referee of the year» (Лучший Рефери года):male- Tarik Benradi (Morocco) and female- Kalaya Suddai (Thailand)- выбран судьями;
«Best the Member National Association (MNA)» (Лучший Член Национальной ассоциации года): Russia (за успешное проведение 2015 World Championships in Chelyabinsk)- отобран руководством ВТФ.
«Best Kick Of The Year» (Лучший Удар года): AARON COOK (MDA) - в этом году впервые включен в награды Gala Awards в честь красоты,силы и точности этого вида спорта.
"WTF Gala Awards 2015 станет прекрасным способом закончить фантастический год", сказал Choue. "Это шанс для WTF, чтобы поблагодарить всех наших спортсменов, тренеров, судей и членов национальных ассоциаций, которые работали так напряженно в течение года и способствовали развитию нашего глобального спорта."
